Male Soprano Cenk Karaferya is a recent graduate of Trinity College of Music where he studied voice with Teresa Cahill, Robert Aldwinckle and Timothy Travers-Brown. Past operatic performances include David in Handel's Saul for Katarina Kyrka (SE), 1st Witch and the Spirit in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas for Opera de Bauge (FR), and the title role in Handel's Rinaldo for In Vivo Chamber Opera (UK). His concert credits include the Greenwich Early Music Festival with Handel's Dixit Dominus. Numerous appearances at the Handel House for the Handel and the Castrati Exhibition, led for a broadcast on the BBC Radio World Service. Current season highlights include an appearance in the London Handel Festival and the Istanbul Baroque Week.

The Performance
Cenk has appeared in intimate venue's such as The Handel House, Vintner's Hall, and Sevile Ball Rooms of Brook Street. Also he has sung to large audiences in concert halls of Germany, France, Turkey, USA and the UK. Works regularly with TCM Early Music Ensemble and also collabrates with many opera companies. Cenk regularly collabrates with Bridget Cunningham in recital and concert. The duo have started to form a new baroque ensemble for further concerts and exciting projects.
